End of last year I was in Brazil. In Rio I had to hand over my camera to some unfriendly robbers with knifes. All what was left was the small camera of my wife. In São Paulo I took this self-portrait...

Today I was browsing my photographs and found I do have more people photography before the series of portraits in Mali.

This man we found in Valpar?so (Chile) during our honeymoon. I don't know why he was carrying the candle, it was in the late afternoon I took this photograph. He must have been looking for his dog at the whole village.

The gallery made available is a collection of photographs taken in La Antigua Guatemala. This was the former capital of Guatemala. in the 18th century there were nice baroque churches and other buildings. Unfortunately the location of La Antigua was from a geographical perspective not optimal.

The slide show tells and visualizes what happened and how it looks today.

I am close to complete a series of Black and White photographs from Antigua (Guatemala) they all follow one theme which I will show on this website in December.

During our Guatemala trip early this year we have seen few interesting technology. Sure the buses were exciting, we had to try them all. This car just crossed our road in Antigua, I wonder how the owner keeps it in shape. Roads are not too good in Guatemala.

In Guatemala we found this boy with his very special business concept to earn some money. We of course have tried his innovative service and rewarded him. When we came home, we saw what the scales where saying. I tried to explain my wife that the reading is that high because of the cameras, which she did not believe.

Result is that we have bought a scale at home and now trying to loose some weight.
