Last October I took the chance and made a series of a man playing his saxophone just in front of our door. Today we had a walk and I saw this man. First of all he was happy to be on my picture but also he just kept looking natural. I asked my self: "why is it so easy to get contact with people from outside Europe and take a photograph?" People in India seems to be relaxed and enjoyed to be photographed, the same applied to people I photographed in Mali (Africa). When you ask in Europe you get a "NO" or if yes people seem to change completely. I did not found yet the way to take portraits on the street asking European people, however I will find out!  |
